So if you're looking to slow down, relax and enjoy life without the constant chaos and fast pace, moving to San Diego might be just what your doctor ordered. San Diego has great transportation to take you anywhere and still has more trolleys for faster service.
A few miles from the Mexican border, it's no surprise that San Diego has one of the BEST Mexican foods outside of Mexico. Popular areas of San Diego are scattered, so if you want to experience all that the sprawling metropolis of San Diego has to offer, you'll save money and time by renting a car. This is my first year in San Diego and I have to say that mixing public transportation with a bicycle or any other type of transportation is the perfect way to go, you can save a lot of time, and since the weather is perfect all year round, you won't have to worry about traveling in cold, hot or rainy climates. San Diego's most important airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN), which was once named Lindberg Field (named after aviator Charles Lindbergh, who made the first solo, non-stop transatlantic flight).
